Equinox

There was a time
when we would pay tribute

or at least observance

to the seasons fulcrum

acknowledge the changing

heat receding, animal migration,

flora's decline

so divorced

from Nature's pulse

we wonder

at stuffy noses

and odd behavior

neglecting

that primal grip

to the Earth's transition
