what with winter's cold
and society's fragility
the simple pleasure
of sharing laughs
over a hearty broth,
the ease of fellowship
with long time friends,
the rejuvenating qualities
of both spicy noodles
and fluid conversation,
as our noses run with heat
and chins glisten
with tasty grease.
