about myself
more avenues to traverse
secrets to uncover
reservoirs to tap
Socrates first step
to true wisdom
'know thyself'
is no mean feat
is never complete
In the midst of a challenge
my energy depleted
my outlook grim
my motivation non-existent
I am renewed
Not once or twice
but many times
some unknown reserve
emptied, consumed
to inexorably continue
It cannot last
but the finish line
is fast approaching
relief in sight
one more day and then the next
