Organizing Principle

For me its The Program
my day, my perception, my worldview
all codified around and within recovery

it is not a series of dictums

or some kind of prescriptive morality

what it is is an attempt

to dispel the erroneous notion

that we are separate beings

beholden to suffering and otherness

that we are, in fact

parts of a collective whole

a Fellowship

at first of addicts

but upon investigation

of humanity in its totality

in which there is pain

but never despair.
